Here below are seven of my best resources for getting (literally) thousands of backlinks for free for your SEO campaigns.
Please note: When I say “free” what I mean is no money out of your pocket. Three of the resources below require you to sign up for either a 7- or 30-day trial and begin charging you after the trial period is over.
This is still “free” with no immediate money out of your pocket. I’ve stayed subscribed to several services which offer free trial periods and usually saw an increase in SERPs after being charged and sticking with the service after the second month.

#1.) 24:7 Backlinks
24:7 Backlinks offers 1,000 free anchor text backlinks just for signing up. This service is excellent and is one I’m constantly using and promoting to my list and website visitors.

#2.) Social Monkee
Social Monkee allows you to build 25 unique backlinks every day on the owners’ privately built bookmarking websites. There’s at least 100 different domains your links will be posted on, all varying in page rank.
The only downfall to the free version of this service is once you submit a URL you can’t submit it ever again. But what you can do is submit every webpage you own that’s on the same domain or simply upgrade to their Elite Account Access then you can submit the same link every two weeks.
The 25 free submissions a day is still an excellent opportunity to get those extra links coming in to your website.

#3.) IM Automator
IM Automator is a tool allowing you to submit your websites onto their social bookmarking accounts. Just like Social Monkee above you can only submit your URL once and never again.
There’s a “Pro” Version for this tool, but membership is full and they aren’t taking any new members. You can still get a few links in to your webpages using their free bookmark submitter.

#4.) Free Backlinks Generator
Free Backlinks Generator is a massive link submission tool for getting quick backlinks and webpages indexed fast. Completely free, all you have to do is type which webpage you want backlinks for and click “submit”.
They also offer a free viral traffic and backlink getting script when you upgrade from a free account.

#5.) Link Juicer
Link Juicer, once set up is a completely automated social bookmarking and web 2.0 submission service that builds links to your webpages every single day.
You will need to write a short description of your webpage and then spin it with the built-in software already installed inside Link Juicer. Once that’s done, submit your campaign and it will run for as long as you like building links every day to your sites.
This is one of the 30-day free trial offers. Try it free for 30 days and have backlinks built to your site everyday, if you don’t like what you see you can cancel and keep all the links the system built for you. This is one of the services I stay subscribed to.

#6.) Backlinks Genie
Backlinks Genie is a very powerful system that allows you to schedule link blasts using a variety of link building sources. This service builds backlinks for my sites every month but I’m not subscribed to them directly. You can read how I do that by taking a look at my Link Emperor Review.
Backlinks Genie offers a 30-day free trial and allows you access to submit blog comments and Xrumer blasts from inside their system with the free trial. This is an excellent service to be a paid member of, especially for less than ten bucks a month on their cheapest plan.

Dripable is another great resource similar to Backlinks Genie above. They will submit blog comments and Xrumer blasts just like the Genie.
They offer a 7-day free trial which will give you access to their service for nothing out of pocket.

I do both but mostly rely on link building services for my campaigns. Ideally, you want to outsource your SEO as quickly as you can. This will free up your time so you can focus on other, more important tasks.

Some things to consider about backlinks:1. Age affects all backlinks. Google specifically weighs a backlink more with age. Backlinks gain in weight over time until after around 6 months they reach their full weight. Basically, it means that the effort you do building backlinks will be worth more and more.

Dario brought up a great point “outsourcing” is key. I use fivver a lot which has saved a lot of time with getting my site ranks.
As for backlinking well its a pain so automate with the above tools. They absolutely work.
